The 7th Congressional District
In 2011, Colorado's seven congressional districts were redrawn to reflect the state's population and demographic changes as brought forth in the 2010 U.S. Census.
Effective with the 2012 general election, the "new" CD 7 will encompass parts of Adams and Jefferson counties, and the cities of Arvada, Commerce City, Edgewater, Golden, Lakewood, Northglenn, Thornton, Welby, Westminster and Wheat Ridge. Jane represents over 200 individual school communities in all school districts that lie totally or in part within the boundaries of CD 7.
